Hiking in the Allgäu Alps
The region offers countless hiking trails, from easy walks to challenging mountain tours. An absolute highlight is the hike to the Imberger Horn, which offers breathtaking views. which rewards you with breathtaking views. For those who want to take it a little more leisurely, the Hornbahn doesn't offer direct access to the summit, but it does provide a very special mountain feeling. You only have to climb about 300 meters in altitude to the summit, which can be done in about an hour, depending on your experience. A small climb that is more than worth it.

Via ferratas in and around Bad Hindelang
The area around Bad Hindelang is known for its challenging via ferratas. For example, discover the EDELRID via ferrata, which has a difficulty level of B/C and is suitable for experienced climbers aged 14 and over. The Ostrachtal via ferrata can be completed relatively quickly, taking around two hours, but due to the level of difficulty B-C it is only suitable for advanced climbers. A unique highlight is the Hindelanger via ferrata. This stretches over 8 km from Nebelhorn to Großer Thumb and offers pure adventure. Only for absolute experts.

The Allgäu is a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. There is a well-marked network of trails and paths that can be ridden by beginners to professionals. An easy tour, for example, leads in the direction of Tannheimer Tal to Vilsalpsee. MTB tours to huts such as the Hirsch Alpe or the Schwarzenberghütte are somewhat more demanding and also popular. Are all the trails not varied or fast enough? A bike park directly at the Hornbahn has easy, medium and difficult downhill routes. The Jochpass will really delight racing cyclists.

Swimming fun in the crystal-clear mountain lake or relaxing in the outdoor pool

Tobogganing in the Allgäu Alps
The Allgäu offers various toboggan runs where you can experience exciting descents with family or friends. In Bad Hindelang you can take the Hornbahn up the mountain. From here, depending on the snow conditions, three different toboggan runs with different levels of difficulty await you. If you love superlatives, it's best to go to Pfronten to Breitenberg in Ostallgäu and toboggan down the longest natural toboggan run in the Allgäu for over 7 km. There is even more adrenaline in Oberstaufen on the Hochgrat. A toboggan run with many meters of altitude and steep slopes, where the descent into the valley is absolutely rapid.

Hindelang bike park with pump track
In the Bike Park Hindelang, experienced bikers can enjoy a total of 9 freeride kilometers of varying difficulty on two designated routes and various courses. The height difference between the two runs is 516 meters each. Everyone gets their money's worth - but always be careful, you should slowly increase the difficulty from light to dark. The “Black Rock” course is only suitable for top riders.

The Hindelang natural pool is an optimal combination of the conventional outdoor pool with the water purification of a natural pool. With the help of a wood chip heater, the water is kept at a pleasant temperature and kept at an average of 20° Celsius.
